This brunch burger was absolutely delicious and our waitress was amazing. Definitely try it if you are in the neighborhood
Went for an early dinner and we were very happy with our experience. This is a brand new diner in Belton. We were seated immediately and our order taken very quickly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had fried pickles for an appetizer and they were really good, and the house made ranch dipping sauce was delicious! I had a Depot Burger and it was delicious and very big, I couldn't finish mine. The fries were very good but could have been a little more crispy (just my preference), the onion ring on top of the burger made me wish I had ordered onion rings. My wife had Twisted Chicken Fried Chicken that she said it was really good. Again, it was plentiful and she had to take half of it home with her. The only hiccup was checkout, they were having trouble with the register and ringing up and charging the meal, but as a new business, it didn't really bother me since they are still working out the kinks. I can see this becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Belton!
This is a cute little restaurant with alot of character. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The food was made from scratch and tasted great. The portions were so big we couldn't eat it all and took leftovers home. Waitresses were friendly and attentive. We had chicken tenders with fries.Prices were reasonable. The bathrooms are located outside which were inconvenient but clean. I highly recommend this restaurant for some tasty food for a good price.
After 20 years of my mom passing, I have found a place that makes chicken and dumplings. The way she did. It was almost like my mom was standing in the kitchen, making them .It brought back so many memories.
Our waitress was so friendly and helpful! She wouldn't wait until we asked for something. She would come to us and ask what else we needed. The food was amazing and the proportions were more than enough! When I come back to visit my daughter, we will definitely come back.Carla ChildressHattiesburg Mississippi
Had a great visit with 3 kids during lunch while we were in town. Fried fish special and burgers were fresh and delicious. I expected the flaming boxcar to be spicy, but it wasn't. The diced jalapenos added flavor but no spice. Green beans cooked with bacon were some of the best flavored green beans I have had at similar establishments. Price was 70 with to for 2 adults and 2 kids (one infant.)
Ordered catering for a family event and got such a great experience!Christy helped me evaluate my needs and offered solutions for the menu, and held my hand through head counts, food quantity, and RSVPs. They even made sure to consider my GF husband and nut-allergic son. The food was good and everyone got plenty to eat, but mostly people were cared for/ catered to.While it isn't always part of their package, I was so relieved when I offered to hire a server that they themselves undertook that duty to ensure that their standards were met. Jay showed up, early, ready to go. He set up, served, and kept things moving so that I could really host my party. He packed the leftovers and cleaned up. The coolest thing was how many of my guests knew him and how friendly he was with people. I wanted a hand... but I got an ambassador. We certainly look forward to eating with them and will definitely come back for the service.
Wanted to try this place since it’s new. It’s in an old building. It was a little busy at 11:45 am on Saturday. There’s no place to wait for a table but of the weather is nice you can walk around and they will call you. And there is plenty of parking in the lot across the street. We ordered the Katy Combo with regular cheese curds, okra and fried pickles; the Twisted Grilled Chicken, they were nice enough to sub the bacon for grilled onions, with the mashed potatoes and a side salad; the Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and okra. They were still in their soft opening but service was fairly quick. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back.
